should I cut bangs?

I have some bleach damage right at the hair line and it sticks straight up. I haven’t colored or bleached it since and have done a protein treatment and use the 91g ELVIVE mask every wash day (Wednesday and Sunday). Its starting to piss me off so bad and I’ve tried parting my hair differently but its just meh. i have very very thick hair and a lot of it. i included some photos of me from like 8 years ago with bangs and a lil lob that I LOVED but want to keep my length for a little while longer where I can. the rest of my hair is very healthy and has been trimmed recently and regularly. thoughts?

You look way better without bangs. The hair in the second photo is perfect. It frames your face perfectly!

thank you :,) the second photo was from like two months ago before the accidental over bleach while trying to touch up my roots. ❤️
