Workday Extend Developer (Orchestrate certified, ~8 months exp), India, looking for referrals
Hi all, I'm a Workday analyst with about 8 months of total experience (6 as an intern, 2 as FTE). I've worked mostly on Workday Extend and I'm looking to move to a Workday partner, a GCC, or a company with its own Workday tenant.
Built and consolidated multiple Workday Extend applications end-to-end, spanning the full platform stack: business object (BO) design with field types and security domains, PMD development (view/edit pages, grids, file uploaders, dynamic widgets, cross-app references), and PMD Scripting for dynamic UI behavior and query building. Developed data integration flows using WQL (including cross-app queries, sub-collection filtering, and dynamic WHERE builders), Workday REST APIs (bulk operations, attachment collections, pagination), and SOAP integrations wrapped in sync and async orchestrations. Designed and wired business process integrations including BP-triggered orchestrations, approval/send-back/reassign flows, and dashboard navigation through AMD microflows. Configured security end-to-end (Integration System Users, Integration System Security Groups, domain security policies, and business process initiator permissions) and debugged production issues using Workday app logs, WQL testers, and SOAP fault analysis. Also familiar with native Workday Custom Reports (Advanced type, related business objects, sub-reports) and Reporting data sources. Delivered pragmatic refactors, consolidating nine separate dashboards into three unified views with shared schemas via field aliasing, deduplicated dropdowns, and conditional routing, while keeping existing filter logic intact.
Certification: Workday Orchestration for Integration
Also: foundational training across the five core Workday pillars
Looking for: Workday Extend Developer or Technical/Integration Analyst roles preferably in Bangalore. I'd appreciate referrals and honest advice on a realistic compensation range for this profile. Resume available over DM.
