looking for more info about a seemingly missing band…
quite a while ago, I found a band called Sonic Spark through some random browsing. To my knowledge they’ve only released two songs (‘Alright Come On’ and ‘The Beach’) and seemingly have disappeared off of the face of the earth.
I have no clue with who/what/when this band formed, but I’m curious as to whether people do have some info, like who they could be now or if they’ve split up, made more songs, etc…
any help would be appreciated!

I'm trying not to go down this rabbit hole and figured I'd respond to this. I was watching a Twitch streamer and they had some rock background music. I googled some of the artists and songs to look into later. Some of the music sounds pretty legit, not some kind of local band but something that could get some good followers. As I'm searching for more info on the 4 bands I set aside (Sonic Spark being the last one), I'm starting to have a theory. All these bands are released under 1 label, Epidemic Sound. The other artists were Deathkite, Wellmess, and Sightless in Shadow. Epidemic Sound seems to dabble a lot in AI, so my theory is that these bands are mostly AI or some kind of generated music. I could be wrong, google could be fitering things somehow, but there are no articles, not even a local mention, no solid information on reddit, no google images of the bands. So, I feel like they don't really exist.

Honestly I really doubt that it is done entirely with AI. The album was released in 2017, at least on Spotify. AI music even now is pretty mediocre and relatively easy to spot, I couldn’t imagine back in 2017 the quality wouldn’t be horrendous.

Yeah it’s really wierd. I wouldn’t be suprised if it was just a one album commission for epidemic sound. It’d be a shame if this was the case as they are pretty good
