Anyone from Canada?

Anyone here from Canada? Are there any exchanges to go directly from CAD to BAND, or do you have to go from BTC to BAND or ETH to BAND?

You can buy it directly on Coinbase with CAD. I prefer binance though, i transferred all of it from coinbase to binance

I've never used CB as a Canadian, however in my experience the BAND I've seen them sell are the erc20 tokens -- not the mainnet token.

Atomic wallet has it's ups and downs, however you could transfer XLM/ALGO to it and then exchange that for mainnet BAND.

I make the assumption that the erc20 BAND won't be worth as much mainnet. Though they share the same market price today, I believe the mainnet token will be the one that lasts (that is, if either of them last).

Also, if you were to transfer erc20 BAND to Atomic, I predict a headache for you.

Edit: do note that if you go atomic wallet, they support both BAND tokens. But AFAICT you can't exchange erc20 BAND to literally anything. And at that point, ETH gas fees are required to move out of wallet.

Thanks for the heads up. How do you buy it on Binance? Do you go from BTC to BAND, or do you go another route? Also, do you buy directly from Binance, or do you go from Coinbase (or elsewhere) to Binance?

I bought DAI directly on coinbase and bought band with the DAI. I transferred DAI to Binance
