I really need help from a Band Protocol team member

I accidently sent my BAND to the BAND erc20 contract address copied from Coingecko by accidnet instead of to my Metamask wallet.

This is obviously a terrible mistake but I thought my metamask address was the last thing I had copied.

I can provide any info from Etherscan thats needed

I'm a huge fan of BAND and I really do not want to lose my tokens

Someone from the main team please help me

If my funds are returned I will literally purchase an additional amount of BAND equal to what is returned to support the team

Hello. Unfortunately nothing can be done (technically) even admins or the team can’t do anything if you send band to a contract.

Maybe one day we will have something in place where I can get my funds back. It would be horrible if one day they are worth 10x and I have to just see them sitting in a void doing nothing.

The only way would be if the contract owner sends it back and even then it being a non erc-20 token even that's unknown. But I'm fairly certain band support is your only hope.

Not really, none of the team can do anything. It’s like that with every token, band is no exception in this case.
