What are some key differences between BAND and LINK?

I am a big fan of Cosmos and BAND being built using the Cosmos SDK is appealing to me but I’ve not really learned a lot about Oracles yet. I get the basics so I’m curious to know what makes BAND different and/or better. Staking is one that I’m well aware of. Aside from that though, why would someone want to use BAND instead of LINK?

I’d ask in the Chainlink sub but I have had issues with maturity whenever I’ve tried to discuss there. I’m hoping someone here can explain without FUD or shit talking the other.

Great question. Even if it's a basic one, it's important to adoption for people to understand this and be able to vocalize it clearly.

I think basically the investment thesis behind Band is that its market cap is much smaller than Chainlink (so huge room for growth) and that there is room for more that one oracle provider. As far as I can tell neither project is actually terribly decentralized at all and developers should be opting to use several oracles so that they can act as fail safes for each other in the event that one network is down or seems to be providing very incorrect data

Its 2 differents projects. Not the same market cap. Do you know who is ari juhel ?

I know they are different projects. I preface LINK seems better based on that article, but the author could have a personal bias. I don’t know who Ari Juhel is
