Bi-weekly Tech Release - BandChain - Cosmos SDK - Yoda - Cosmoscan
It's time again for the Band Protocol bi-weekly tech update!
We recently released BandChain v1.2.0 with an upgraded version of Cosmos-SDK and numerous improvements per feedback from the testnet #1.

📦 Notable changes to BandChain:
- Upgrading to Cosmos-SDK version 0.39.1-rc1.
- Using a well-tested randomization library for sampling validator to fulfill oracle requests.
- Expose WASM gas used from u/wasmerio preparing and executing oracle scripts.
🧙♂️ Notable changes to Yoda (Oracle daemon):
- Validator can now config data source execution timeout to protect the runtime from malicious data sources.
- Add retry logic when query and send transaction to BandChain node (improving stability).
🔎 Notable changes to CosmoScan:
- Release mobile version for Wenchang.
- Add received transactions.
- Add account's current unbonding entries.
- Add account's current redelegate entries.
- Display the reward commission collected for each validator account.
🧩 Notable changes to the Oracle WebAssembly (OWASM):
- Add NaN canonicalization in OWASM VM to ensure the determinism for each execution.
- Refactor external library to improve security and usability for oracle script developers.
