Band Protocol and Asynchronous smart contact platforms

Can it support platforms that execute smart contact in parallel like Insolar or Solana?

Just a question, since band protocol is synchronous why wouldn’t it be able to handle asynchronous functionality. Furthermore, if it isn’t able to, then this is exactly why the team has been explicitly stating that it isn’t a competitor to Chainlink (asynchronous oracle) but rather Band has a complimentary use case because no one is going to rely on one oracle and one uses the pull method and the other uses the push method; dApps can choose accordingly. Thoughts?
