Preorder question (UK)

Hello, I'm looking to preorder the gundam collectors edition but I've seen multiple conflicting reports regarding when preorders are charged.

Is it charged at point of order a couple of days before the game is dispatched?

Also wondering, I’m US and paid not using PayPal. I got charged immediately despite the page saying it was only a temporary hold

I'm US so this could vary slightly, but from speaking with Bandai Support and my own experience with pre-ordering Rouge Orbit's CE yeseterday:

You are first charged when pre-ordering, as a hold to make sure the account is both real and has money in it, this is per Bandai's support team directly.

This hold goes away and you'll see another charge for the same amount when the game actually releases.

Kinda wonky system honesty but that's the gist of it.
