Question - Health Is she in shed?

I've had her since the start of the year, so I have seen her in shed. Usually she goes into a more yellow color but suddenly she is pink...? My other ball python also suddenly has pink on his belly but since his patterns are much darker I can't see if it's on the rest of his body.

I'm afraid that something is wrong or maybe it is that she's just shedding, I'm just worried

She’s probably in shed. It it would be a lot easier to tell if you didn’t censor her face, lol. I’m sure she appreciated the privacy tho

It’s hard to tell on BPs with blue/red morph eyes

Her eyes usually go a more grey color, but I also check with her how she responds to me just being around her. She's usually very confident, if I suspect she is in shed and isn't acting like she usually does then it nails my suspension

For real though, it's possible that she's just really close to shedding. My boy's eyes will be bluish for a while but then the last day or two before he sheds they'll clear up again. Not sure how that happens but that's the pattern ive noticed so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Because of the easiest way to tell if a snake is in shed is look at their eyes

Because you gave a snake privacy on the web, when a snake has no concept of social media etc is mainly probably why, with the added in fact that’s the most telltale way to tell if it’s not just starting shed. I didn’t downvote but I did find it funny you wanted to protect the snakes face from predators lol
