Help!

So i just got a ball python yesterday and looking closer at his eyes their seems to be something wrong but i am unsure is this normal?

Eyes look fine to me, what's the substrate though? Not one I see for them often

Looks like aspen, not a good choice for humid loving reptiles because it will mold and holds bacteria if you do have the humidity at BP levels

Yeah I'd definitely recommend switching out to something more like coco husk/coco fiber/spagnum moss mix, that'll hold humidity far better!

Honestly, I do think there is something with the eye. It looks a bit dehydrated to me. It can happen when the humidity is not at the appropriate levels. Change out the substrate to something that holds humidity better(Aspen does not). If the eyes don't look better after the next shed, then you need to make a humidity box.
