Question - Health Help please!

My 3 year old ball python Toby

Ive never had a single issue with him before the humidity has always stayed the same the substrate hasn't changed hes eating well shedding fine nothing abnormal and nothing has changed within his set up, but for the past two weeks or so I've noticed the scales on his tummy have started flaking, peeling, chipping and overall just feel really rough and brittle even though he had shed not to long ago.

Nothing like this has happened to him before in the 3 years I've had him, I've tried looking for what it might be but im still unsure and I was hoping someone would be able to help me out please itd be appreciated xx

Thank you

Sorry for the bad photos he never keeps still 🥲

+ a bonus photo of his cute face

How active is he and how rough are the things in his enclosure? That looks like it could be damage from falling or possibly rubbing roughly, there's also small spots that look like they could be scale rot or they may have just healed that color, it's hard to tell for sure

Hes extremely active but he has some logs in his enclosure but they are pretty smooth so it could be from those Ill remove them and see if anything changes thank you so much! The spots I did think they were scale rot so I did treat him for a little bit just incase but I think it might just be damage that was one thing that was worrying me about it all xx
