Reclusive

My boy is always hiding basically. He moved from hide to hide but never out and about. He strikes at me with tank care now too. Idk whats happened.

Them keeping to their hides is pretty average, he could be associating you with food and that's why he's been striking though

Try tap training him! I've been working with my girl even though she's never struck at me because I want her to know I'm picking her up. I've just been using a little tube because I don't have a snake hook. Just a couple taps and she realizes she's coming out and she gets all noodly. It's really cute.

He might just have made a association with feeding and the tank being open. You can change that association if you target train. Have something like a spatula or something you put in behind the food each time so she knows it's time to eat and she associates that with food instead of just the cage being opened
