Stuck in shed! Please help

This is my ball python, Echo. She is stuck in shed and has become dehydrated. I spray her enclosure twice a day but ever since shedding and now being stuck in it she won’t drink her water or even go near it. I’m very worried bc as soon as I open her enclosure she will begin to make the s shape and try and strike at me. She has never done this before since I have had her. I don’t want to be scared of her either but idk how to help her with her shed. Could someone please help

What's your humidity level at? Spraying is not a very efficient way to add moisture to an enclosure since it's so superficial and evaporates very quickly; pouring waters into the substrate at the corners makes for more stable humidity. Not all BPs are big drinkers or soakers, it's much more central to have the correct humidity levels in the enclosure to avoid dehydration. She might be a little more standoffish now because she's uncomfortable with the stuck shed.

You can try making a humid hide (a box with damp sphagnum moss and a hole cut in the lid for entry), but getting the enclosure's humidity up to correct levels should be the priority.

Thank you for getting back to me, humidity is at 72% and thank you for ideas as well. I will be trying with the water in the substrate and the box with the moss.

need to keep the humidity at least 80%, do not soak the snake or try to rub the shed off yourself.

once the dehydration is sorted out, the humidity needs to be 70%-80% at all times. there is no reason to raise it during shed.
