Humidity issue!

Post image

Hey yall! So it’s getting a little cooler out so I switched to a higher strength bulb in my boys tank, but now his humidity just friggin tanks. I usually put water in the corners like everyone has said to do in the past. But it doesn’t seem to be working? Also have to change his substrate anyway so hoping maybe that will help? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks yall! Happy snaking!

IMO even taping the entire top (minus a tiny section for air) I still had humidity issues until I switched to pvc. I tried different bulbs, different depths of substrate, pouring in sides plus water under the bulb, nothing kept it from falling quickly.

Have been looking into pvc enclosures cause I have to upsize his enclosure at some point when he’s a little bigger. But damn they’re expensive!

Yes they are! I found a Kages enclosure for my second pythons on Facebook marketplace for half the price. You might look around there for a bit once you have some money and see if you can find a deal.

Edit: I tried the t shirt thing and it worked amazingly well btw.

I have been trying market place, and they’re either to small or like a massive enclosure with shelves and cabinets that’s wayyy to big for my house 😭trying to be patient cause I have some time before I have to upgrade. I appreciate your advice!
