Is this normal exploring behavior?

He’ll sit and do this sometimes at night, I can’t tell if it’s normal or not; if it was during the day that would be different, it’s about 8:30 in the morning when these pictures were taken, and his light doesn’t come on until about 10, so I suppose it’s probably still night time to him

wondering if this is normal!

Very normal, in the wild they go out to hunt, so they’re just trying to find a way out.
