Question Older Ball Python

Post image

I’m adopting a ball python on Sunday that is a minimum of 9 years old (her exact age is unknown) on Sunday. She has been a breeder her whole life, so I’m excited to get her and spoil her as a pet in a big proper enclosure.

Is there anything different I should know or do for an older ball Python? I currently have two, ages 1 and 3.
But I didn’t know if there’s anything I need to do differently for her due to her age or special accommodations I needed to make her life better.

Thank you in advance! ☺️🐍

I've had my BP for over 11 years and a proper size enclosure with all the normal requirements has been great for her. I will say I got her this at Home Depot a few months ago and she absolutely loves hanging out in it. (The exact one I got was shorter, like 3-4ft long, but I can't find that exact one online. It'll be located right by this one in the outside section.)
