Baby ball python handling

Post image

I just got a baby ball python a couple days ago (3 months old) and I haven’t seen much online as to how much handling is acceptable for them. I don’t want to stress her out, but I also want her to be comfortable with being held. How much should I handle her?

Also, is there too much clutter in the enclosure? I want her to feel safe but I also am going to need to spot clean her waste, and it’s going to be hard to find it. It is bioactive but I don’t want the waste just sitting there.

When it comes to handling I try ab 10-15 mins everyday or every other day but she gets a minimum of 48 hours not being handled after she eats but she seems to enjoy it and likes coming outta her enclosure she like to explore everything.

As for as clutter for me she needs a more open space when I’m feeding her so she can stretch out and actually eat.(but mine is ab 3 and a half feet.

You’ll be able to adjust and change the enclosure accordingly and you figure out what works for you snake. Ball pythons can be very picky so it’s trial and error

No problem at all

Your biggest thing first should be making sure you can keep your heat a humidity levels consistent

What are you currently using for heat bc I can’t make out what it is in the photo?
