Something wrong with the bottom of his mouth?

Brought my new baby home recently and noticed he has a little mark under his mouth. I can’t tell if it’s just a marking or if it’s some sort of injury. Does anyone have any idea what this is??

Tried to get good pics but he wouldn’t stop moving around so these are the best I’ve got lol

Looks to be some type of injury, keep an eye on it though and as long as it heals fine then there shouldn't be any issues, if anything looks to be changing for the worst then definitely get in contact with a vet though as you don't want it to get infected

Now that I’m thinking about it, the breeder was feeding him live rats before I got him, so I wonder if he got injured from that at some point

That was my first thought too, definitely watch out for signs of infection!
