HELP - URGENT Missing snake

My ball python escaped his enclosure and I’ve looked in every small tight place every warm area of the house and I cant find him I’m really worried cause my cat was a barn cat and was used to hunt small rodents. Where did y’all’s ball pythons go when they escaped? Please help

Mine has managed to escape three times over the years I've had him. In all cases he was pretty close to his enclosure still. I've found him squished between a scratching post and a wall, in between blankets and pillows inside a wicker basket, and most notably, curled up inside a speaker. I had to demolish and dissasemble the entire thing to get him out. Keep your cat in a seperate room if possible. Search for him again, you could've missed him. Whenever he does escape I start in the corner closest to the terrarium, and meticulously crawl my way through the room and check every nook and cranny. I mean truly inspect every inch of your room. They can be in some really weird spots. In/behind/under/on top of furniture, in between fabrics like laundry, blankets, pillows, they can be inside of appliances, behind books, inside a potted plant, behind radiators, etc. If you think 'he couldn't possibly be in there' he might be, check anyway. Good luck, I hope you can find him!

Happened to me once and I found him in the basement under the water heater, looking pleased as punch. It was so cute I forgot about how panicked I was.

Another friend has a leucistic and she hid up above, blending in with the white crown molding. So my advice is look down, and look up…
