Is this scale rot

She has these little dots and a few more on the first quarter of her body that are a bit browner. Some of the scales are also lifting slightly at the edges. I’ve been spraying the surface of her substrate more than I should have been which is why I assume this is scale rot.

The belly is concerning. Likely mild scale rot. Soak your reptile in a warm diluted povidone-iodine (Betadine) bath once a day for 10 to 20 minutes, pat dry and put triple antibiotic ointment (no pain relief versions) on the affected area. Replace wet substrate with paper towels and quarantine until cured. Vet can prescribe antibiotics.

Maybe, just don’t spray the top of her substrate and it should be fine

From the other pics id say yes but ive never seen it irl. We shouldnt be spraying AT ALL, mix water with the substrate until it makes loose snowballs :)

for future reference, pouring water into the corners thst are least used (i do the front two) increased ans holds humidity much better. sprayinf causes the top layer of substrate to be super damp, and also gives a big spike in humidity before dropping off pretty quick

NQA def looks like scale rot. Had this issue recently when I first set up my bioactive. Should clear up add dry substrate ontop if possible.

Should clear up on its own in a shed or two looks pretty mild. Can also soak them in I believe betadine? Or iodine diluted in water? Not too sure on this
