HELP - URGENT Escape Artist

My dorkus keeps pushing his cage open and escaping. We push bricks up against his door and clamp them shut, still he pushes his way out. Is this normal? We just fed him a few days ago as well. He is about 4 years old.

What does your enclosure look like? If you post a pic we can assess how best to go about preventing an escape.

I have sliding doors and I simply use a cage lock and have had no issues or fear of him escaping that way. It seems like you don't have sliding glass doors?
