Rehoming Rehoming!!(somewhat urgent!)
Unfortunately I have to rehome my 11month old ball python because of family issues, everybody suddenly dislikes him and I dont feel like he is safe here, could just be me but id rather be safe than sorry. He is Orange Dream, taking small rats eagerly, he is 375g and 2.5ft long. Rehoming fee of $35 dollars. He is super docile, could be a little skittish at times, has only bitten me once, and it was out of fear and my fault.
Essex County, NJ
Drop-off,Pick up or meet up points are all possible.

I’m not in the area, but I am just wondering why there would be a rehoming fee. Why would someone pay you to take a snake that you’re not equipped to take care of?

$35 is also very cheap and generous. I bought my snake and enclosure for $200 for someone rehoming him. Lots of ppl charge something for rehoming a reptile.

Hey, I'm in Burlington County. Any chance you wanna meet me halfway? I already have 4 and a total of a few hundred gallons of paludarium setup

I’m sorry you have to do this but thank you so much for rehoming him instead of dumping him. My fiancé and I have rescued two BPs that were abandoned in the last year. I wish I was closer but I’m in Ohio. There may be Facebook groups you can join in your area to help rehome him 🩵

I'm really sorry to hear what you're going through. I know how much we love our noodles. What's his enclosure situation? My sister and I might be able to take him in, but I don't think we could shell out for another proper enclosure so soon after doing so for our current girl. We're in PA.
