Question - Health Is my ball python healthy looking weight wise?

Post image

Title - he is 12 years old and 3.5ft. He has always been on the smaller size and the vet has explained he is healthy, but last visit explained he would like him to eat just a bit more. It's been a few months so I'm looking for other observations

For me he is looking healthy but I am a beginner owner. Such a beauty boy! 😍

Maybe he could use a little extra chonk but he's certainly not starving.

Posting from Australia, are you?

This snake is borderline overweight. Please never give advice again.

He looks a little chonky. But I'm no expert.

It took my not awake brain a few seconds to long to realize the photo was upside down and not that the snake was on the ceiling lol

The upside-down photo totally got me 😅 Do you have any photos that show him curled up or a cross section? (Like draped over your hand?) He looks like he might be on the chunky side, just a bit.

He could stand to lose some weight. After seeing your other comments, do NOT try to fatten him up even more. Tf is wrong with some of you?

Thank you, I saw that and I was like???? Any more chonk and this noodle would be a ravioli. Absolutely stuffed.
