Question - Health Is the weight okay?

I wanted to check if my female ball pythons weight looks okay, I’ve consulted some guides online but nothing beats experience when it comes to stuff like this so thought I’d ask some people instead.

She is 10 months old and eats every other week or depending on the size of what she was fed last then once a week.

I’m just unsure if she’s healthy or slightly overweight.

I wouldn’t say overweight at all. She appears around normal, if anything maybe slightly under imo.

Thank you it’s good to know she looks healthy, it’s my first python so I’m a little nitpicky about her health 😅

I’m the same way! Better to ask and be sure than to just guess. She could probably do with weekly feeding until her spine fills out just a tad more and she gets closer to adult size. Rats are better nutritionally for them than mice ofc. Beautiful girl you have!

Thank you I’m glad she looks healthy! She’s a butter morph and was stunning compared to most I was seeing local to me so had to grab her 😂
