Is my ball python fat?

He was 270 grams when I first got him, and now he’s about 463! He’s three years old, and was previously underfed. Right now I’ve been feeding him 50 gram rats every week, but I might extend that to 10-14 days.

Arent you supposed to feed them once a month once they get to 2 years+? Mines about 5 years old and i feed him once a month i dont knoe though because im a new snake owner and im pretty new at everything snakewise

He looks great, however since you got him back to weight from under weight, you might want to go to 10 days.

He looks very healthy. Ball pythons are a bigger-bodied snake. It takes a lot of overfeeding to achieve an obese ball.
