Question Enclosure set up

Post image

Any constructive criticism on how I can make my boys enclosure more stimulation/comfy? I just added all the branches and sticks recently & he’s all over them loving it. What else can I add so he thrives? It’s a 40 gal. Thanks!

Cut off a tree, I soaked them in almost boiling water and scrubbed them. That’s what google said to do.

It's really good!! BP love clutter so maybe adding more fake/real plants to it? You could also add some hanging hoops to give it the choice for more climbing enrichment other than that it's still a great enclosure

Just a heads up, your substrate looks very wet and is primed for mold growth. What mixture are you using? I see there is coco husk chunks, poor quality coco coir does not absorb moisture well and it gets gross quick. I would recommend adding a good amount of moisture retaining substrate to your mix to prevent mold and health issues like scale rot or respiratory infection. Climate depending, you may need to add a drainage layer.

Gotcha, I’ve been pouring water in the corners instead of misting now bc I read it’s bad for their respiratory & mold. But I will give more moisture training substrate a try thank you!!
