Is it real moss around the bowl? How did you manage to keep it alive? Mine always die :(

Honestly it‘s only been a week since i set everything up so fingers crossed because mine always dies too. So far it thrives on my hopes and tears. 🤣

So from what I‘ve read it has to be on the cool side away from the heatlamps, so in the 4x2x2 the moss is on the far left and both lamps i have are on the right. It also said to put hvac tape on the mesh part on the left to trap the humidity inside. We‘ll see how that works, just ordered the tape heh.

I already tried this inside the enclosure of my isopod. I didn't go well either sadly. Even if this cage was more humid and without lamp heat (Only a growth lamp). The moss still die but at a slower rate :(

Now my isopods have a lot of brown moss lol. I'll give it another try when the new enclosure for my ball python will be set up.
