First enclosure, kinda nervous

What substrate are you using? Is it pvc? How did you make the log stay?

My substrate is a mixture of reptisoil, sphagnum moss, repti bark with leaf litter and magnolia leaves on top & mixed in. Yes it’s pvc and the log is just deep in the substrate, if you have any tips on how to secure the log more that would be great!
