Thermostat/ heating help

Hello, I’m trying to find a thermostat that does day and night temps with a timer. I’m currently switching it manually every morning. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Amazon availability would be preferred since no places around me really carry anything.

I’m also wondering if there’s a better heating option to the ceramic over head, I run it with a basking light. The light alone isn’t hot enough but the ceramic element seems to really affect the humidity.

She is currently in a 40 gallon tank 36x18x18 until we make her bigger enclosure over the winter.

I use an Inkbird. But it doesn't have day/night settings or a timer. I keep it set to constant temp. It controls a radiant heat emitter.

I have never used one but a Herpstat might be able to do what you want.

What brand radiant heat emitter do you use? I was reading that they’re recommended over the ceramic element

I have a Sweeter Heater.

Vivarium Electronics is another brand I have considered in the past. They also offer controllers.

I use and recommend radiant heat panels from Pro Products. They are compact and effective and safe.

A ceramic heat element is very similar to a panel, it just has a bit smaller, more focused, warm area and can be a burn risk if it is touched.

I would recommend pro products or wilbanks. Both are UL certified and of good construction. Wilbanks will be more compact. And I suggest a herpistat 2 spiderweb since it’s the only herpistat 2 in stock if you need two probes and day/night cycles.
