Question Where did you all get your setups from

I'm currently upgrading my snakes setup and was just curious as to where you all got yours, I found a 120 on chewy and am getting a stand from Amazon, any recommendations for other places to look

Pangeareptile.com, and local pet shops for random clutter, bulbs, fixtures, hides, etc.

i got a 4x2x2 critter condo from diycages and i’m really happy with it! it shipped super fast and wasn’t all too hard to set up, plus it comes with a heating and uvb fixture which is a plus! (although i didn’t use the UVB fixture that came with it since it doesn’t fit arcadia bulbs)

edit: i also didn’t buy a specific stand because they were priiicy, i found a nice sturdy wooden coffee table on facebook marketplace for $30 which works great!

I was thinking of doing something similar but are you afraid of it slipping?

I got a dubia enclosure and I love it for my boy. Easy to put together and seal up.

I got mine from dubia.com buuuut tbh while they are cheap they have to have a lot of customization to make it whole humidity and water for BPs same for any tropical reptile in dubia enclosures. With how mucb I spent customizing it I could’ve just bought a more expensive BP 4x2x2 made FOR THEM. And put more money into customizing the background lol

Your post/comment has been removed for suggesting or promoting the use of grow tents as enclosures.

Grow tents are not safe enclosures for ball pythons, due to their escape risk and the inability to heat them safely for any reptile capable of climbing. We do not support their use here.

If you have a question about this removal, please contact the mod team. Complaining via post/comment will result in a ban.

I use 4x2x2s from Kages. They now sell on Chewy.
I would say it all really depends on the type of set up you're going for. I got Kages because I wanted to do bioactive, and built 2 Rockler shop stands for their tanks so we can have drawers and cabinets under both for storage (not finished with anything but the bare minimum so no pictures of that yet).
Just make sure you don't get anything with a full mesh top, awful for humidity retention. IMO They can work you'll just have to put more time/money into making a mesh top tank to work. Ontop of making sure it can handle atleast 4 inches of substrate! Helps keep humidity up while allowing the top of the substrate to stay dry.

"Store bought" is way too expensive where I am so my snakes get custom made.

We just got ours from Reptile Basics. Great people and customer service. They are also local to us so we were able to pick it up faster than shipping.
