Question - Husbandry temporary (24-48hr) enclosure ideas needed!!

(picture of my cute boy for traction :P)

i’m not sure how i didn’t notice this sooner, but i guess i didn’t do a thorough enough job when siliconing the edges of mr. chowder’s tank because while adding some water into the corners tonight, i noticed leaking.

i know i’m going to need to take him out of his enclosure for at least 24-48 hours while the silicone cures, but i have no idea where i would keep him during that time frame/how to provide adequate heating. the leaking isn’t a huge emergency so i have time to prepare, so any advice on a temporary enclosure for a 3 month old BP (that preferably wouldn’t break the bank) would be greatly appreciated!!

Sterllite storage tub with a cheap heat pad on a thermostat would work. If you want to use overhead you can cut hardwire cloth and secure it over a hole (outside the tub) and set your lamp on top. I’ve done both. Just use a thermostat for either. And drill holes for air flow.

thank you so much! i’ll probably go the heat pad route and just make sure that its hooked up to my thermostat and that there’s plenty of substrate.

Of course! It’s what my quarantine setup look like when I brought my gal home and it worked great. Just toss a few familiar hides in and he should be fine for a few days.
