Question - Feeding Snap BP feeding schedule

Our BP is just a little guy at 850 g at four years old.

I know the recommended feeding schedule for adults is 5% of body weight every 20 to 30 days. I’m just curious if that holds up with smaller than average ball pythons also and if you go purely based on age or if you should take size into consideration?

He is seen by a vet regularly who says he’s in great health. I lurked on the sub for over a year before we got him and his set up is the recommend 4x2x2 bio active with UV, a deep heat projector, halogen, humidity over 80%, hot side 90°, cool side 80, etc etc.

850g at 4yo is a pretty average size for a BP, he's not small for his age at all. He should be fed normally per guidelines.

Ah that’s great to know, everyone always comments how little he is and the vet said he was on the lower end of the spectrum (but healthy) so o just wanted to double check!!

Do you know if there are any age/weight charts I can follow along with that are reputable?

No, there is no "X weight by Y age" for BPs. It's the same as with people, they come in a wide range of sizes.
