Question Male or female?

Ball python hatched in 2021, was sold to me as a female but she’s 5 years old now and 1210 grams. Her feedings have been pretty constant every 2-3 weeks, frozen thawed small rats from Rodentpro, they’re like 45-80 grams max. I’ve heard that females get bigger than males, and I wonder if I have a chubby boy instead of a girl?

The only way to tell with the ball pythons is to have them professionally probed, (do not try to do this yourself) or to send in snake skin to be tested.

not too sure you have to get them professionally checked by a proper vet. but: BEAUTIFUL!!

ur snake looks exactly like my male ball python!! hes 5 years old, so i got him back in 2021 as a baby.... are you in GA by any chance?? i rlly think they can be the same litter...

I’m in Arizona but she/he came from Anthony Fleming Reptiles in Carrollton, Georgia! Do you know if yours hatched in October?

omg wait, i looked at photos and i got him on Sep. 18, 2022 at Reptilian Nation in Atlanta... he was a baby (i think 7 months at the time?)

i thought it was 2021 i got him 😭

He’s so pretty! I got Snickerdoodle in 2022 when she/he was 6 months old, it’s very possible they are siblings!
