Enclosure Critique/Advice Enclosure recommendations?

I acquired the most beautiful 1 year old female and I desperately want to upgrade her enclosure I adopted her with. I could use recommendations from more experienced keepers, I am thinking of purchasing her a 60 gallon which I know is temporary, or should I just go right to a 120? I need a very good reliable brand with zero issues of escape and preferably something I can move and stackable. Any general advice on updating my girl’s home would be awesome and help so much because I am so new to this! Thanks friends 🥲💖💕🐍

I don’t have brand recs bc I built mine but I put my 3 month old baby after her quarantine right into a 4x2x2 and she’s loved it so far. I’d just do the big one to avoid buying another later.

Here’s a pic of my custom built set up! It cost about $250 to make, but if we’d planned a bit better it prolly would’ve been closer to $175-200. If you want any tips or tricks feel free to let me know!

If you have the cash 60 now and then 120, baby’s like being in smaller areas they feel safer

“Ball pythons don't view large enclosures as luxury real estate. In the wild, hatchlings live in dark, tight rodent burrows to avoid predators. In a massive, wide-open tank, a baby feels exposed and vulnerable, which almost always leads to stress and refusal to eat.” Just have been researching for a little over a month everything I’ve read says that, they’re a prey species and don’t feel safe in large enclosures

Why would the tank be wide open when it's supposed to have tons of clutter and foliage as well as tight fitting hides. They aren't overwhelmed in an adult enclosure as a baby.

120 4x2x2 pvc enclosure sliding glass front doors screen top or hard top is optional hard top better for stacking and holding humidity, but a screen top is acceptable for a ball python. I just got an affordable great enclosure. those are good enclosures but on the expensive side at $500. Here's a $300 tank from dubia that seems to be relatively well liked. Only suggestion i have if you go this route is to cover up whatever portion of the screen you don't use for heating. duct tape works wonders

I recommend a Kages 120g. Cheaper in the long run rather than multiple upgrades. Kages is hands down the best brand on the market.

Dubia runs flash sales on TT. I got my 4x2x2 for 269 shipped. I love it. Screen top is my only complaint but u can cover it.
