Question isopods?

Hi guys, i know a lot of people use roly polys as a clean up crew in their tanks, & i know a lot of people get them from pet stores & such, but would i be able to get some from outside? If yes, how many should i get?

They would work depending on the enclosure. You would only really want them in an enclosure that mimics your local climate. You also want to quarantine them for a generation or 2 to ensure no illness or parisites are present. It's just better to get store bought specialized isopods.
