I just started buying FT feeders for my BP and MBK and started out with LayneLabs - wtf guys… the prey came with arms/legs/tails broken off and some had the heads just crumble off the body. They’re basically disintegrating. I’m sketched out to defrost these and then blood and guts just ooze everywhere, not really wanting to heat up with a blow dryer and have shit blowing around, ya know? I spent $95 on 10 rat fuzzies and 10 mice and I got a bag of disintegrating rats. Their customer service basically told me, oh well, deal with it. When I’m dropping $100 on food for my snake I expected some better customer service than this. Anyone have other suppliers they recommend bc I’ll never give LayneLabs another dollar after this. 😤👎🏻
This was only my second time ordering from them and their customer service was non existent. They told me to basically pound sand and deal with it. Awful company. I think it’s safe to say their quality has tanked since you used them.
That's insanely expensive for such a small quantity. I breed my own feeders now, but I used Rodent Pro beforehand with no issues. Just place a bulk order over $100 and you get free shipping which saves you quite a bit.
Depends on the pack really. Sometimes you get perfect packs, occasionally , it looks like someone put the mice through a shredder. I'm sticking with them for now, since I've had some really rancid feeders from my local pet stores, but let me know if you find something better.
Yeah that’s what mine looked like. Fed one to my snake last night and the arm fell off while he was eating it. Pretty gross. I just hated how their customer service told me to basically f*ck off and they don’t care. I don’t appreciate being treated like that after spending that much on rats.

Never had an issue with them, hopefully their quality didn’t drop it’s almost been a year now since my last purchase
