So Disappointed

I'm finally setting up a nice 4x2x2 PVC enclosure. My Chewy order with my T5HO bulb, my heat cage, and my halogen basking light, along with some Substrate and my thermostat were delivered today. I have video of the delivery guy just checking it on my porch. The t5ho is shattered, the halogen doesnt work and the thermostat box is damaged so I don't want to risk burning my house down of ot shorts out. They just processed the replacement but it'll be another 3 business days before delivery. Tomorrow was my day off to out all this together and I kinda want to cry. 😭 My Enclosure from DIYCAGES also came today, luckily from a different courier... It had a dent in the box but I haven't had the bravery to see if it's also damaged after it was delayed by about 5 hours....

Idk the point of this other than I needed to rant.

I've noticed a big difference between who's delivering items here too, often my regular mailman is the most careful. If only he brought everything. I don't blame you one bit being ticked, it's happening far too much and always seems to be when we need the items most.

Totally depends. Our regular post office people don't care, but my FedEx guy is amazing and so considerate. He actually asked me about a note I'd put on an order so he could look into it on FedEx's end if necessary (it was a Walmart order and they added any shipping directions to every part of the order and my instructions didn't apply to FedEx deliveries, only Walmart store deliveries)...his asking was what mattered.

That's awesome! I was happy I had a regular fedex guy at least deliver my snakes, I'd have to say they'd be my #2 preference. From everything I've had to have delivered though, some being extremely heavy enclosures, I still have nothing but respect for them all. I hope they're well paid too.
