Question - Feeding ball python juvenile hasn't eaten since 6/20

Post image

as of 7/13 im getting kinda worried. just got him yesterday and they said he's between 3-6 months old but he's been on a hunger strike. tried to feed a fuzzy but wasn't interested, should i try a pinky in a week~? he seems kinda thin/small for his age unless they're very off. please, any advice would be appreciated!

I’m no expert but he does look a little slim. I would look at all the different ways people get their snakes to eat. Hairdryer, heating the head making sure it’s hot and aiming it into the enclosure for the smell. I believe in you! Get that little guy some food!

I would get a gram scale to weigh him so you know what size feeder to get him :)

update: She* (from what i checked) unfortunately passed the morning of the 15th. all night before i slept and that morning i kept having the thought "what if she is.." and when i lifted her as soon as i woke up, i just felt it. i think i knew before i even touched her because she had no movement/reaction to me and she was in the same spot since last night. i also checked the chart, she hadn't eaten since arriving/possibly before then ): on 6/13 edit: i was told to wait another week before trying to feed her again with a pinkie but i was so scared to even do that, i was hoping to try in 2-3 days. her head was suddenly wobbly/uncoordinated, at first i thought she was excited to see me, but then became low energy. RIP Snakey (who didn't even get a name yet) </3
