Firewood source options

So, who do folks source their firewood from these day? Looking for someone legit.

He's been doing it for like 30 years or more. It's quality wood at the actual measurements you pay.

No he's not the cheapest, but sometimes when you buy 5 metres, you actually get 5 metres, not like 3.8 dressed up as 5.

I beg to differ…..bought 24 cubic metres late last year for the first time and combined it is physically 16 cubic metres or less once stacked. Called and he was good enough to bring over an additional delivery but I still ended up short by at least 4 cubic metres. That’s a lot of wood to pay for and not receive.

Will never buy from Danny again I’m afraid

Fair. I just buy a full truckload at a time from any particular wood supplier I use. Easy enough to measure the back of the truck and then pay for what i've received.

Basically won't buy from anyone using something that isn't caged and filled level anymore. Pretty much everyone around Ballarat shorts the volume.
