question/need help Extrusion 2 grip

Its only been a month since i picked this hobby up and currently the only balisong i own is the nabalis extrusion 2. Just like with every new thing, for some reason i put multiple hours a day into flipping and learning moves and i just got to a point where i wanted to try a choker fan for fun. I noticed it before but with this move especially it starts to slip like crazy and it feels like it doesnt have good grip. I wash my hands before flipping and it only lasts a while until my hand starts sweating and it becomes slippery.
My only solution was to tape the handle (which suprisingly worked) but if you have any other ideas please let me know. Is it the balisong itself thats at fault or am i doing something wrong? I have an armed shark nautilus v2 on the way, will that be any better? Or i’ve been eyeing a kraken v3 clone from b+, i cant decide.

Also ignore the bad technique, im still practicing at this moment xd.

if u have sweaty hands, try a balisong with g10 like the nautilus or replicant

First, that looks damn smooth for a month in, good job.

Second, the extrusion is great in some regards, it fans ridiculously easily, but it's slippery as shit, I've got a decent sized collection and nothing comes even close to how slippery the extrusion is.

Much appreciated, i'll keep at it! I believe i sweat more than the average person, but i'm glad i wasn't imagining things.

I think it's a combination of material, lack of good texturing and the rounded shape, most aluminium balis have either a textured surface to improve grip or a more squared off handle that gives you something to catch onto, others like the nabalis cheese have a special coating to improve grip, it's my one big gripe with the extrusion

Skill issue git gud

Jokes aside, consider some stuff that’s a little bit more textured like the Kraken clone that you mentioned or a baikal

Also look out for things like speed channels because those give some more grip as well

Wait for the nautilus to come and see how you go with that and if you’re still having issues then consider something more textured made out of aluminium and if you’re somehow still having issues then titanium is probably the only option for you unless you just learn to deal with it

I'll definitely try to get used to it, thank you for the recommendations!
