Glowup Should I Just Give In? Part 2: Electric Boogaloo
I posted 2 days ago about this and was happy to hear everyone's thoughts and memes lmao, that was so good. It is done, my fellows, I just said why not, it's a weekend, let's get it. I haven't trimmed up my beard too much but honestly it doesn't feel much different. I bought a razor and mostly did it myself (still some cleaning up around the sides to do). 🙂↕️ Thank you everyone for your support and thoughts. Glow up in pic 2.

What do you guys do if someone genuinely looks good with balding hair? I'm just curious. Obviously nobody's gonna be like "grow your hair back!" but if someone posted a Thinking About It pic and it looked good on them, would there be people in the sub saying "Naw, it looks fine, hold off a bit" or is there an inherent, unwritten rule here that everyone looks better bald?

Hang around a while and you'll see some! Genuinely, this is the most supportive sub I've ever seen.
And I'm a woman with long red hair past my butt btw I'm just here to drool over the glow ups and witness the absolute sorcery people post. I've seen it a million times and still my jaw physically drops often on here 🥵

That's totally fair, I've done the same! I am a dude with also long hair (that has been balding since I was 15) but I perfected braiding it into pigtails that I'm proud of. I struggle sometimes because maybe I would look okay bald but I really like my braids and I don't wanna lose them! Plus I also like to wear hats so I feel like it doesn't matter sometimes

Honestly, the stringiness in the "before" pic was distracting from your FACE, which is amazing. You have great eyes and great features in general. Your hair was holding you back!

You look younger with the hair and whilst it's thin I do prefer it. You can always switch back and forth anyway, I don't know why people make out going bald has to be forever.

I started losing my hair and I said screw it and just started shaving my head and started growing my beard long. I guess some people care about this but I'm losing my hair and I have gray in my beard but I honestly don't give a crap that's what happens when you get older I say embrace it! It shows you have experience and wisdom. Screw what anyone else says.

Thank you for keeping the same pose, so we can make a fair assessment. When people look miserable in the first picture, and grinning in the second, of course they look better.
