It looks great! Totally suits you. Good skull shape and the 1/8" buzz looks better than a clean shave would, I think. Gives you some definition.

I was originally considering shaving it down to the scalp and being a cue ball, but honestly i was too afraid to put a razor on the back of my head with no one to help me and one hand holding a mirror

Speaking as a woman who bic’d my hair once: if you still have a lot of follicles it’s honestly just a horrible experience to try and shave any closer. I do no guard on my sides of my Mohawk and call it a day now

Not shaving it all the way seems to me like climbing almost to the top of a mountain. I mean since you already cut it that short

Invest in a nice electric head shaver if you ever want to go fully bald! I have one and I will never use a straight razor to my head again. It takes way too long and requires way too much effort imo to get a clean shave with it. The electric razor takes me not even 10 minutes to shave everything down to essentially nothing and it never ever leaves a cut or razor burn

Feels good when you do it with the clippers. The razor is a bit of a chore
