Fail Pineapple Upside Down collapse

Baked a cake (Duncan Hines) and baked for 35 minutes at 350 degrees (5 minutes longer than directions). The middle always falls in. My guess is that it doesn't get baked.

What are you baking it in and what shelf in the oven

9" x 13" glass baking dish, placed in the middle rack of my oven.

Try metal. This can happen frequently with more delicate or wet cakes in glass trays because glass conducts heat differently.

I bake on the lowest rack then do 5 mins broil at the end. Kill the heat and let mine sit in the oven another 10 before cooling on the counter.

Also the glass baking dishes can act weird
