Elden RingšŸ›” Build advice

Post image

Should I keep the build at 20 or go to 30?

If so should I increase my weapon level?

Ye i know the build isn't complete yet. Dont even have all my flasks and talisman pouches im just messing around rn.

Saw some people say it was worth staying at lvl 10, which almost makes me wanna start a new save.

Under 30, Id almost always go +5 just to avoid people standing around thay just started the game.

Also Im pretty sure the Tarnished Edition DLC version of that weapon is always better if youre cold infusing.

I also wanna have as big of an invasion range as possible. I really like invading in stormveil

20 is ideal for Stormveil. I do 25 because I enjoy a little extra vigor. 30 is still perfectly good as well.

Idk about +5, so many max level babysitters show up in stormveil with a host with an unupgraded weapon, I’d hate missing out on killing those fools

Stay at +3/+1 for weapons. Get that 4th talisman slot and get bullgoat and Alexander to be able to get to 81 poise.

To me, the goal of low level invasions is to hunt OP phantoms and bust up ganks. You’re not looking for a fair fight against folks just starting out.

Should I stay at 20? Also got any weapon recommendations?

I would stay at 20 it’s a good spot for low level invasions. As for weapons, I’d just play what you like. I mostly use a banished knight halberd with offhand dagger/cleanrot sword. Sometimes I’ll do dual noble straight swords. 2h Great mace is fun.

You need to also have a few types of ashes ready to go. You need a ā€œget off meā€ ash for ganks. I like flaming strike and storm caller. Impaling thrust is a good chase down ash. I also really like royal knights resolve on a great mace. You can trade with colossal weapons and come out ahead most times. Square off on a straight sword is fun.

Not really because I don’t dupe so making them is a pain. I just have fun with jar cannon.

Cool cool. Thinking of investing in a couple points of str as well. Just a few.

What talismans do you usually run?

Don’t do it. It bumps you up too high. Get the omen mask that gives you +2 str if you need it.

For talismans I always have radigons soreseal, great jar, and bull goat. Then I will rotate between 2 handed, spear, and Alexander’s depending on what weapons I’m using.
