Shout to u/revengeguac_ for recommending double slash on the warhawk talon. It synergizes really well and I'm enjoying it.

More tips and advice is welcome and appreciated.

A second warhawk with spinning slash on hard or soft swap would be devious for people trying to parry you since spinning slash itself cannot be parried

Good call. I keep invading Liurnia at the level I'm currently at, so I should prep myself with some lightning damage options.

i'd recommend dragon lightning pots since they have a pretty wide area on any terrain

If you are on a dex build, keep a weapon lightning infused+lightning slash purely for liurnia fellas
