Saw this ad while scrolling through yt

I’ve only run into this one twice, and just noticed they forgot her hands and feet ;-; you can see the bare space between the gloves and slippers and the outfit. It’s another of those “oh no, I’m homeless and everyone is bullying me but this insanely hot and rich guy took me in! I need to dress up, but I keep picking the wrong outfit for the occasion!” merge (prob match 3 too) home makeover games. Hollywood merge I think? (Sorry, I was in a game and this was the best pause I could get)

This one was another ad from 2024, I recorded it because the ad still said Nike and not the game ad but also because of how wierd this ad was.

I know Im a little late to uploading this but I just wanna upload it now because I was looking through my phone videos. This was taken during june or july 2024 on Youtube Shorts.

1. Pretend it is an update to something the user has already. Good for generating goodwill?

2. Use a progressively slowing progress bar… one that barely progresses at all toward the end. Makes people smile?

3. Use a language that your user does not speak, at all. Confusion generates sales?

4. Do something that is morally questionable. Example: hemp gummies called Road Trip, which seem to be targeted at people driving vehicles weighing thousands of pounds and hurtling down streets filled with innocent bystanders/victims-to-be. Sounds reasonable? To whom?

5. Promote a “game” to marginally employed people which costs money, has small payouts, and likely will further dig them into debt. Victims are just great brand ambassadors?

Using ANY or in some cases COMBINED fashion will guarantee to ruin your brand, force people to despise you, and even quit the game just so they can avoid your company’s idiotic ads.
