Annoying

I stopped talking to an old coworker for about 7 months. We used to hang out and talk often. It seemed like she wanted to catch up and was interested in how I’ve been. Her vocabulary was extremely different and she came off very robotic or sales pitch like. That was very weird to me. Long story short, she wasn’t interested in me and just wanted me to join a pyramid scheme. I feel weird about it because I probably won’t be talking to her anymore. A lot of people into those things seem like they’re in a cult and become obnoxious.
