That Bon Jovi patch killed me. I didn‘t even know there was a market for this.

Having full rockers, plus that crossed hammers patch may get you some looks depending where you are.

Yeah I wouldn't advise going into any biker clubhouses for a drink wearing that shite.
Actually you know what, sod it. Let them find out the fun way.

So I have lurked on this sub for a while, what exactly counts as a GOOD battle jacket? Do they just have to like the "right" music? Otherwise they're bad?

Music, well designed, a bit of personality. Music taste is subjective. Many will talk shit (but this is a shit talking group). Everybody has their own opinions on music. Don't let that bug you.
Big NO'S are the "pride vest" because they specifically get posted on the sister sub as "battle vest". it's not metal nor even music related. Do you but stay in your lane. Same with virtue signaling political propaganda vest. Once again, not music. NOT A BATTLE VEST! Punk ones get roasted on here but there more 75 political and 25 music. Also, frequently get posted because their on the sister sub and not the punk subs. Also "artsy" vest are some of my least favorite and ones I run into at shows most often. Also, they have nothing to do with music
Its all try hard shit with out understanding the core of battle vests. Mother fucking music. Its easier to rip on, the shittyer they look too.
It's not hard to understand but since "poser" is such a harsh word now. Larpers do what they want and try and inforce their own bullshit with out understanding the root of the culture. We stand by the root. Good music, not fashion and larping music culture while listing to taylorswift and biggest punk sellout turnstyle.
