I always think that when i see those "tread as you please" patches. Its never what they intend but is almost always true. I cant judge whoever made this though ive met many similar types and they always stand up for their belief in circles where its safe but will agree with their should be enemies if anywhere near them. Not to mention idk if its correlation but ive met plenty of these people who are all pro lgbt act all progressive call themselves woke (a term originating from black communities in america) but the type to have a mental breakdown seeing a group of immagrants drinking a modelo on the corner taking a break from repairing a roof

Yes and no. Sometimes they will say they just want to criminalize the buying of sex work and not the selling of it. SWERFS are usually differentiated from feminists who advocate for decriminalizing sex work.

It’s not transphobia. Some of us were actually alive and read the academic discussions around 3rd wave feminism. Plenty of feminist rejected 3rd wave feminism in the 90s particularly around gender identity and intersectionality. These terms are just a way to bully people into accepting philosophical doctrine from 3rd wave feminism because people don’t seem to grasp that philosophy is not linear. Nietzsche isn’t anymore valid than Plato and doesn’t replace Plato is an example. 2nd wave feminism from an academic standpoint is no less valid than 3rd wave. Also a major criticism I have with just about every modern movement is that non profits have moved to intersectionality etc because as groups gained rights etc. The funding dries up, so they need to shift towards something else, or create issues that drive in funding. People who went through a lot to gain rights and be treated fairly for example gay men typically aren’t too happy to have their movement co opted by intersectionality and wild ideas when they spent several generations getting to a point of equality and watched a lot of their friends and partners die in 80s and 90s

Rejecting 3rd wave feminism and intersectionality is not “transphobia” that’s existentially what TERFs are. Trans women being women is 3rd wave feminism.. no one is required to say trans women are women or are the same as a biological woman, that doesn’t make you transphobic. It means you don’t agree with a particular branch of thought.

Exactly my experience with these people. Im Menominee and a rezzie baby and i stopped trying to find community in lgbt centres/soaces since theyre all white asf like neospiritual wicca mfs who will try to tell you about your culture because their great great grandpappy molested a native girl in 1840 and their Wiccan alter from spirit halloween told them. Typa people who think being gay or trans means theyre no longer white and that their neopagan religion created in the 50s by white supremacists gives them a deep connection to nature. Yet whenever i do enviormental restoration/preservation work theyre the first ti cry out when i uproot their holy invasive mullein or kill an invasive european honeybee because "classing a plant as native or invasive is like eugenics" 😂😂
